The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety is actively seeking qualified individuals that are interested in a rewarding career as a Public Safety Officer. The Department of Public Safety is a cross-functional agency, offering a wide variety of traditional and unique services.

These services include:

Fire Suppression, Traffic Enforcement,
Criminal Investigations,
Community Outreach and others.

Individuals seeking to become a part of our team will be fully trained to provide both fire suppression and law enforcement duties for the City of Orangeburg.

Candidates requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age	Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
Be able to successfully complete a fitness for duty assessment	No criminal history
Must have a valid South Carolina Driver's license	Good driving record
